TV Actor Madhurima Tuli Talks About Being Bullied In School For Her Dressing Sense

Bullying is one of the worst things that could happen to a child as it can have a catastrophic impact on them. In a recent interview, TV actor Madhurima Tuli opened up about how bullies affected her young years.

“In school, I was bullied a lot. I was from Odisha and then I came to Dehradun. When I went to Dehradun, I really didn’t have a good dressing sense or even speak proper English. People used to talk and girls would comment Arre, kitni behenji hai’ she is so LS (low society),” revealed Madhurima.

Now, we all know how bullying can create an environment of fear, it can destroy a child’s confidence, can make their lives miserable. However, Madhurima wasn’t the one to take things lying down. She found a unique way to handle her haters. She participated in a beauty pageant and she won the competition too! “But after I became Miss Uttaranchal, they all became my friends. They bullied me a lot. But I think it did me good. I became a confident person,” she said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Madhurima has participated in a number of reality shows from Nach Baliye to Bigg Boss. Madhurima shared a turbulent relationship with Vishal and their love-hate equation in the reality show dominated headlines. There’s no denying that Bigg Boss 13 has quite a few problematic episodes. But the episode where actor Madhurima Tuli hit her ex Vishal Aditya Singh with a frying pan will be remembered in history forever. After the altercation, Madhurima was evicted from the show. However, both of them sorted their differences once Vishal also came out of the house. The actors also reunited for a special show called Salaam-E-Ishq. At the time, the couple also said that they don’t get mad at each other anymore, “We make sure that we don’t overreact to each other’s actions. We wanted to end things on a nice note and that is why we are here performing together. We will respect each other, and I believe everything happens for good,” said Madhurima in an earlier interview with a leading daily.
