4 DIY Remedies Kriti Sanon Swears By For A Glow Up At Home

Kriti Sanon’s Shehzada has finally hit the theatres. While many will gush over Kartik Aryan on-screen, I know my gaze will follow Kriti’s every move because she’s glowing like never before.

Krit has a few DIY routines she swears by, that I think could be the reason behind her glow. I did some research, and it added up! Here’s what I found.

Coconut Oil For Strong, Shiny Hair

Kriti is pretty old-school. She indulges in a full-on massage, aka champi, twice a week with coconut oil. You can apply it directly to the scalp and strands before washing the hair.

If you want to go all in once in a while, combine some honey, egg, and coconut oil together to hydrate and nourish the strands. While honey and oil eliminate dryness, eggs add a shine to the mane while promoting growth.

Aloe Vera For Inflammation & Dryness

The actress extracts aloe vera gel from the plant and applies it to her skin for about 15 minutes and then goes over her skin with a cube of ice. This can calm redness and inflammation instantly. Aloe tackles dryness and itching too. If your skin has been feeling flaky, this DIY might just save you.

Coffee + Coconut Oil For Dullness & Swelling

Kriti applies Coconut Oil to her skin too. It excels at tackling dryness and dullness because of how hydrating it is. She even said that she adds some coffee to the mix on occasion, making for a natural exfoliating scrub. Coffee is a pro at tackling sun spots, swelling and puffiness and it reduces inflammation too.

Turmeric Face Mask For Glowing Skin

She also believes in the power of turmeric (haldi). Sanon picked this up from her mother, and combines turmeric, besan, lemon, and almond milk to create a mask for the face. Since turmeric is chock-full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it restores the glow. Lemon can fade scars and spots. Besan, on the other hand, can exfoliate the skin and remove tan.

I’m going to be pampering myself with these DIYs.
