Malaika Arora’s ‘Sweats But Make It Sexy’ Look
Malaika has been making a case for athleisure of late, and we aren’t complaining. The actress has been giving us ample inspiration on how to take our activewear picks out for a spin and her outfit from last evening is the perfect example. The look comprises a baggy, high neck sweatshirt and matching sweat pants by streetwear brand, Essentials. Malaika has elevated the otherwise laidback outfit with a pair of white stilettos and a matching Chanel bag.
This is a good look that effectively marries comfort with style. However, we feel that it is a tad too safe especially for a fashion force like Malaika. Pretty sure our reaction would have been different had she gone for standout accessories in colour-pop hues. She could have maybe done a pair of Sex And The City-style cobalt heels and an emerald green bag or vice versa. There was a scope to play with colour and Malaika let it all go wasted with her basic white accessories.
Kareena Kapoor’s Leather-Weather Fit
Frayed hem? Check. Androgynous fit? Check. Leather separates? Check. Kohl-rimmed eyes? Check.
Kareena here is a proper goth girl in her head-to-toe black outfit and we are in awe of how effortlessly she is carrying the look. This ensemble is yet another testimony of the fact that there exists no look that this fashionista can not carry. We love the Givenchy logo T-shirt and the boot cut leather pant pairing. Bebo’s Hermès bag aptly balances the entire look by adding a sense of structure to it and her dainty watch takes care of the rest. We dig this look that is effortlessly stylish and practical.
Verdict
If we were to choose just one look, it would be of Bebo’s. We like how Kareena has committed to the monochrome theme and has paid ample attention to every single detail without going overboard. Killed it!
