J.Lo’s Milky White Bridal Mani Is Chic & Easy To Recreate; Here’s How

Jennifer Lopez might have fashioned her veil with a shade of nude on the nails; but the singer renounced white as her go-to colour in a recent celebration of her wedding with her nail-artist choosing to reduce the amount of pigmentation on the nails, and dousing them in a sheer, milky-white shade instead. Though most brides opt for a conventional French manicure punctuated by shorter nails on D-day, Lopez paired her all-white sartorial choice for the day with all-white, milky-looking lacquers. Hailey Bieber has vouched for them too!

Lopez’ nails were shaped into almonds long and tapered. She opted for a semi-transparent white for the entire nail a shade that displayed her more conspicuous tips through the polish and encrusted the nails with flower-shaped itsy-bitsies. Jen’s tryst with this manicure isn’t new though. Nail-artist Tom Bachik had posted a photo of her wearing a similar aesthetic in August last year (image below) just sans the artwork. While these nails are better worn short, J.Lo adapted them to her style modelling her almond-shaped tips effortlessly. The nails lent quite the balance to her all-white gown and tanned skin-tone contrasting the elements without overpowering them. The best part about these nails is that they compliment special occasions as much as they flatter your everyday look.

You can recreate these nails at home within minutes. All you need is a similar shade of white. Bachik has used Bio Seaweed Gel’s nail polish in the shade Be The Light for the nails. But because this brand isn’t available in India, here’s an alternative that’ll lend a similar look to your nails. File your nails into almonds, apply your base-coat, and conclude with a milky-white nail-polish.

You can use a nail-stamper or even nail-stickers to conclude the look.
