It’s going to take a while before the world (and me) get over the 2023 Met Gala! The event was just as dreamy and magical as we all expected it to be. We witnessed some iconic looks like Priyanka Chopra’s $25 million necklace or Dua Lipa’s “Legendary” diamond necklace. But, in the midst of all this, we failed to notice one diva whose jewellery was equally avant-garde!
Isha Ambani walked the red carpet in a stunning black-hued satin saree gown by Prabal Gurung. And while we were busy swooning over the six-yard drape hand-embellished with thousands of crystals and pearls, we overlooked her over-the-top diamond jewels with which she accessorised the outfit.
Blogger Julia Chafe brought these stunning jewels to our attention with her latest video on Instagram. As the blogger rightly mentioned, the billionaire wore a “vegetarian amount of carrots” to the Met Gala. She adorned her neck with not one, not two, not three, but four diamond necklaces! She paired a magnificent, thick choker with three other necklaces, all of which had huge diamonds. Lorraine Schwartz designed all of these stunning pieces, which are easily worth at least $100,000 a piece!
Isha paired her stacks of necklaces with matching earrings by the same jewellery designer. If the necklaces and earrings shocked you, wait till you see the size of her ring! She completed her look with a diamond haath phool and probably the biggest solitaire ring we have ever seen. The ring almost looked as big as a paperweight, so we cannot even fathom what the cost of it would be.

We’re convinced that Isha Ambani‘s accessories cost far more than her complete ensemble. She even carried the famed Chanel doll bag, which symbolised her Indian heritage. The handbag, from the global brand’s exclusive line, has a doll face with a Swarovski bindi, a maang tikka with white flower accents, and a pearl matha-patti. The entire design was inspired by a traditional Indian bride. The bag was originally priced at $30,550 (about Rs 25 lakhs), but now the price would’ve easily skyrocketed!
We don’t know about you, but Isha Ambani’s Met Gala look was definitely on our list of the top 5 most stunning looks this year!
