Front bangs are often used as a fast transformational cure after a breakup with your healthy locks, but believe us when we tell you that you don’t need a breakup to look fab. You may have worn all kinds of bangs when you were young, but now is the time to commit to the relationship and realise the significant impact it may have on your overall appearance.
Did you know that it has been declared that curtain bangs are the trendiest style of 2022? Just take a look at your IG feed, and you’ll see the face-framing, wispy tendrils on every celeb. Curtain bangs are beautiful, long wisps of hair that hug both sides of your face, giving you a lovely girl-next-door look. They almost virtually blend in with one of your numerous layers, making this cut look freakin’ cute even as it grows out. Brownie points to this hairdo as it promises to last a long time. Below, I’m going to list down 3 BANG-ing hair products that have taken a permanent residence in my curtain bang-centric cabinet.
To be honest, all bangs, especially curtain bangs, necessitate a little extra effort. There is no such thing as low-maintenance bangs, because whoever says that is a liar. Curtain bangs, on the other hand, may be easier to style than other forms of bangs, especially in cooler months. When there’s no humidity, bangs are a lot easier to handle since they’re less prone to becoming sweaty or frizzy. But if you want to ace curtain bangs like a pro, just use a good serum, a blow dryer, and setting spray (you need nothing else).
Step 1: Part your hair down the middle and apply 1 to 2 drops of hair serum on the palm of your hand. Warm the serum for 5 seconds in your palms before applying it.
Step 2: Wrap a one-inch piece of hair at the temples around a one-inch circular brush, making sure the brush is perpendicular to your hairline.
Step 3: Direct the hair dryer downward (towards the floor) to create stunning curtain bangs.
Step 4: To help shape the hair, use the blow dryer for a few passes, then turn off the heat and hold the piece of hair in the brush for a few seconds.
Step 5: Before starting on the other side, repeat the technique, working in one-inch chunks towards the centre of the bang.
Step 6: To help keep your bangs in check, spritz some hairspray and drag the round brush through them once you’ve finished styling.
So, get ready to rock your curtain bangs in minutes!
