Our New Feed Makes Your Day Pack A Punch Says POPxo’s Fashion Editor!

How often have you been asked, “how was your day” or “what did you do today”? Well, after several well-meaning inquiries I decided to pen down an average day in the life of a fashion editor at POPxo. Bear in mind, there are no front row squabbles or meetings with stars on an average day, it’s just me picking my lazy (but chic) ass off the bed and working magic on the cyber web. Here’s a sneak peek at my day, and how POPxo forms an important part both in and outside the office:

7 am: Ping! That’s my alarm telling me to wake up.

7.30 am: I groggily open my eyes and pick up my phone to see whether it’s worth the effort. There’s a notification from POPxo with my daily horoscope announcing that I’m scheduled for a great day at work, appreciation for my ideas followed by a night of casual revelry with friends. That sounds do-able. Waking up to kickstart the day!

P.S – Did I mention, I am always greeted with a happy thought or compliment when I log on to the newly updated POPxo platform, making my morning a tad bit sweeter.

7.30 to 8.30 am: The next hour is spent with the daily scrubbing and grooming. In between, there’s a quick peek at the POPxo platform to see if there’s a trend I’ve bookmarked that I should follow or maybe there’s a new way to wear a basic white shirt. Either way, a little morning fashion inspiration (and distraction) never hurt anyone. This morning, I picked a colourful, abstract printed oversized shirt with my skinny denims in a bid to mimic the Bollywood’s affinity to bold prints. Don’t believe me, read about it here.

8.40 ish: I’m on the verge of running late. A quick swipe on the POPxo platform and I’m connected to Uber, helping me book a quick ride to work. Yes, the newly updated platform has a widget that connects to your Uber account and you book a cab faster than you can say, “hola como estas.” Arriving in 5 minutes, which allows me to wolf down a small breakfast.

8.45 to 9.30 am: It’s a long ride to work, and that’s the time I use to catch up on my reading on the POPxo platform. Starting with world news, some skincare tips and a bit of Bollywood gossips (so many weddings due this year – Sonam+Anand, DeepVeer et al) to keep my mind jogging. Did I mention, I’ve filtered my POPxo feed so I only get updates about topics that are relevant to me. Goodbye fitness mantras, I will call you again in 2019.

9.30 am to 12.30 pm: The daily humdrum, some friendly conversations and a whole lot of editing later that small breakfast is not sustaining me anymore. Plus, the new widget on POPxo is luring me with its promise of a hearty, early lunch. If you don’t know what it is, it’s the Swiggy widget that takes you right to the food delivery app/website and allows you to order your meal with a simple click of a button. A sandwich and brownie (balanced diet) meal order later, I am patiently watching Upalina and Roshni banter about the latest celebrity looks on Crush or Crash.

1 pm: Meal arrives right on dot, and PIA mimicks my happy mood. As POPxo’s Interactive Assistant, she’s happily sending out kisses and good vibes as she helps you navigate the platform.

5 pm: Received a text from my friend, that evening dinner and drinks plan is really on. Who says horoscopes don’t come do, at POPxo they always do. Speeding up my work and heading home early to try on the new highlighter hack I just read about on POPxo Beauty. Plus, thinking of wearing this new outfit that I ordered last week after one of the girls at work told me that twinsets are the new jumpsuits. Just as chic, without the pain of stripping from head to toe to pee! The day really has been a good one for a regular humpday!
