Lend A Helping Hand: Here’s Where You Can Donate To Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts

As our country suffers through one of its worst health crisis, it can feel frustrating to sit at home and simply watch everything unfurl. We can’t really go out and lend a helping hand, owing to the highly infectious nature of the coronavirus. If you are staying indoors, you are already helping by not contributing to the spread of the virus. However, we totally understand if you want to do more but are feeling helpless.

Fortunately, several foundations and non-government organisations are helping out during this time of crisis. However, with limited funds and too many people who need help, they can only do so much. This organisation is working tirelessly to supply free oxygen to COVID-19 patients in Delhi and Gurgaon. Donate here to support them.

The foundation, run by a husband-wife duo, are cooking free meals for COVID-19 affected patients and their families who are waiting for treatment at hospitals in Delhi. Donate here to support them.

Khalsa Aid

Khalsa Aid is an international NGO, and is presently supplying free oxygen concentrators to patients in need in Delhi. Donate here to support them.

Mission Oxygen

This is an initiative by Delhi-based entrepreneurs to help raise funds for importing oxygen concentrators and donating them to hospitals. A few hours ago, they announced that they are donating an oxygen generation plant to the Delhi government, which is likely to be a game-changer for the city’s hospitals. Goonj

Delhi-based NGO Goonj’s initiative ‘Rahat COVID’ is supplying essentials like ration and hygiene materials to daily wage workers and migrant workers. Donate here to support them.

Feeding From Far

This initiative is involved in COVID relief work and are providing meals and dry rations to daily wage workers in Mumbai. They have distributed over 1,00,000 meals so far. Donate here to support them.

HelpNow is a student-led initiative providing a safe, 24×7 logistics network for transporting COVID patients/suspects, drugs, phlebotomists, healthcare workers (doctors, nurses) and blood/organs/medical supplies across Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Delhi. Donate here to support them.

Khaana Chahiye

Khaana Chahiye is a citizen initiative to provide cooked meals to needy families in the cities of Mumbai and Thane. Donate here to support them.
