Soothing Rose And Sandalwood Face Mask
What you need: 4 tablespoons of rose petals + 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder + 1 tablespoon of honey + a few tablespoons of milk
Make a paste using the rose petals, honey and milk in a mixer. Then, add in the sandalwood powder and more milk to get a mask-like consistency. Apply and leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off.
How this works: Sandalwood absorbs the excess oil from skin without drying it out, milk is super moisturising and honey is great for calming irritation.
Exfoliating Rose And Yoghurt Face Mask
What you need: 4 tablespoons of rose petals + 1 tablespoon of curd + 1 teaspoon of oats + a few tablespoons of milk
Make a paste using the rose petals, oats and milk in a mixer. Then, add in the curd and mix well. Apply and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash your face in circular motions to gently exfoliate skin.
How this works: Oats treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells and yoghurt contains lactic acid, a very gentle AHA.
Rose Water Cryotherapy
What you need: Rose petals + Water
Grab some rose petals and wash them with cold water. Put them in a vessel and add enough water to cover them. Put your stove on the lowest heat setting and cover the vessel. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then let it cool. Your rose water is ready! Simply pour it in an ice tray and use these cubes after cleansing your face.
How this works: Boosts circulation, tightens skin, minimizes the appearance of pores, calms and soothes skin and reduces puffiness.
