Rakhi Sawant Asks Tejasswi Prakash To Stop With The ‘Bechari’ Act & We’re Enraged

Rakhi Sawant Asks Tejasswi Prakash To Stop With The ‘Bechari’ Act & We’re Enraged

Here’s an honest confession— we loved Rakhi Sawant in Bigg Boss 14! She was funny, entertaining and added a lot of masala to the BB house, which is why it is so hard to understand why did Rakhi turn into such a judgemental person in season 15? Recently, the actress locked horns with Tejasswi Prakash during the ticket to finale task and all hell broke loose.

Now we know, blood, tears and sweat, you have to give it all to make it to the list of Bigg Boss finalists but there are some lines you just don’t cross. Allow us to give you a little context— during the task, Tejasswi lost her balls and that was the end of the round for her. Understandably, the actress broke down and she was seen talking to her boyfriend Karan Kundrra about it.

For no apparent reason, Rakhi inserted herself in conversation and slammed Teju for getting emotional. She said, “Nothing is going to happen if you cry. If you want to play the game, go and tear their bags. What will happen if you cry? Why this ‘aansu card’. Why are you crying? You are losing by choice so don’t cry then. Don’t try to act like a bechari if you are not playing the game.” Rakhi further implied that Tejasswi is playing the ‘woman card’ in the game.

NGL, we are hella infuriated about this statement! When men of the house act out in anger, get violent and abusive, no one bats an eye but the moment a woman expresses emotions she is accused of acting like a ‘bechari‘. How is this okay? Just ‘coz a woman is unapologetically emotional, does it make her weak? Being sensitive is a sign of strength and courage.

This is not the first time, Teju has been questioned about getting emotional. During the press conference task, a reporter bashed the actress for playing the ‘woman card’. She said, “You think you are always correct and whenever you feel like you are wrong you start crying, it feels like you are using a girl/victim card.”

In reply, Tejasswi lashed out at the journalist and said, “Agar mera ek emotional side hai aur aap ise woman card bol rahe ho, toh mujhe aapka question bohot offensive laga, aapki soch galat hai.(If I have an emotional side and you are calling it a woman card, then I find your question offensive. Your thought process is wrong.)

Kudos to Tejasswi for never being apologetic about her emotions. Here’s our message for Rakhi— there is no ‘woman card’ or ‘man card’ when it comes to emotions. Crying doesn’t make you a bechari and it is high time that we change this toxic narrative in the BB house.
