5 Beauty Trends B-Town Star Kids Are Obsessed With RN

From Nysa Devgan being papped leaving parties to Janhvi Kapoor setting our IG on fire, Bollywood star kids are creating quite the buzz. But I’m only interested in their hair and makeup.

While scrolling through my FYP, I noticed that these GenZ B-town stars are obsessed with retro beauty trends from the ’60s and ’70s. Is it too early to say they’re bringing these trends back in style?

I hope not, because I’ve mapped their retro beauty choices and think they’re going to blow up!

Janhvi’s Kohled Eyes Are Dreamy

This photo does look like it’s a still from an old ’70s movie, and not just because of the grainy effect. It is also because of the dark kohl that Janhvi Kapoor is wearing. It adds an old-world Bollywood charm while playing into the reverse eyeliner effect that is popular RN.

Shanaya’s ‘Do Is Retro AF

Shanaya is all about the celeb-loved ’90s hairdo. She ditched the basic middle-parted face-framing hair for a more elegant side-parted sleek curtain bang, while the rest of her hair was in a bun.

There are so many iterations of the winged liner but this one is especially Y2K. Khushi Kapoor has previously turned heads with her micro-fringes but this time it is her sharp-enough-to-kill-somebody eyeliner.

You need to bag an eyeliner that allows precision and the tip of the Shiseido Archliner Ink Shibui Black has been my saviour.

Ananya’s Terracotta Blush

With the swirl blush and I’m cold makeup looks doing the rounds, Ananya Panday’s orange blush was like a breath of fresh air. The Liger actress has been a major beauty inspo for GenZ and for good reason.

Sara Ali Khan’s Tinted Lips
