Anand Mahindra’s Response To His Wife Is A Legit Reason Why All Men Should Learn To Cook
Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group has 7.1 million followers on Twitter. It is safe to say that he is India’s most Twitter-savvy industrialist. He tweets several times a day on topics ranging from economy to cricket. He also considers complaints and suggestions for Mahindra Group from his followers. But, what attracts his followers the most is his sense of humour. It keeps them glued to his feed and engage in a dialogue with the business tycoon.
On Sunday, Anand garnered laughs on Twitter when he posted a picture of a man ironing a chapati in response to his wife’s request to help her in the kitchen. “A rainy weekend & we’re staying home. My wife asked me if I wanted to help cook some interesting dishes. I sent her this picture saying this is how I work & asked if she was sure my skills were relevant…,” he wrote.

Hysterical responses, no?
Two weeks ago, Anand posted a picture of the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust (K.C.M.E.T) scholarship selection board meeting on Twitter, in which he can be seen with other members of the K.C.M.E.T. institute. A Twitter user pointed out the use of plastic bottles at the meeting.
Mahindra promptly acknowledged the tweet and responded, “Yes, plastic bottles will be banished. We were all embarrassed to see them that day…”
The next day, a Twitter user told Mahindra to buy Jet Airways and rename it to “Mahindra Airways.”
“I think you should buy Jet Airways and make it as Mahindra airways. I think it will work,” wrote the user.
Known for his wit, Mahindra replied, “Remember the quote: ‘If you want to be a millionaire, start with a Billion dollars and then start (buy) an airline!”
About three months ago, he again left the Twitterati in splits sharing another case of cute banter with his wife Anuradha Mahindra. He tweeted:
Laughed non-stop for 5 mins on reading this. Asked my wife if I could have fooled her like this. She didn’t waste even a few seconds in replying: She said “Really? Would you have lasted 5 mins without speaking into your cellphone?” Aah, the perils of having a smart wife! pic.twitter.com/msWJLbB1ZD
