These Are Some Of Our Favourite American TV Shows That Have Been Nominated For The Emmys 2018

As much as we love our Bollywood and Indian TV drama, there are some American TV shows that we just cannot live without. Whether it’s Stranger Things, Game of Thrones or even Saturday Night Live, our week is dull and incomplete without these shows. And it’s just us, certain shows have created a fan base around the globe. So much so that they’ve even been nominated for the Emmy Awards 2018. Yes, we’re serious!

So, here are some of our favorite TV shows that have been nominated for the Emmy Awards 2018:

1. Stranger Things

 

Cause you can never have enough of Eleven, Mike, Will Byers, and the Demogorgon, which is probably what led them all the way to the Emmys a second time.

2. black-ish

While Dre Johnson is still finding himself and his family a place in the society, black-ish just got nominated for the Best Comedy show.

3. Game Of Thrones

As sad as we were watching the tragic death of Littlefinger, we knew there’s more to come and that’s what makes this show so amazing and Emmy-worthy. Totally rooting for it to win!

4. Westworld

Nominated for Best Drama, and has also received the maximum nominations, Westworld has overtaken the Emmys.

5. Will & Grace

We admit it when our favorite rom-com show from the ’90s made a comeback, we didn’t expect it to do well. But, boy were we wrong. This nomination was totally well-deserved.

6. Homeland

Mandy Patinkin AKA Saul Berenson in Homeland has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor, Male and we couldn’t agree more!

7. Saturday Night Live

What would life be without SNL, right? With their numerous Emmy nominations, it’s been nominated yet again in the category Variety Sketch Series. 

8. Rick and Morty

A kid and his grandfather traveling to different dimensions? Come on, that definitely guarantees an Emmy nomination.

9. Ellen DeGeneres

Yet again, nominated for the Best TV Show host, our Ellen never stops putting a smile on our faces, and we keep wanting more.

10. American Ninja Warrior

This reality shows that tests the real Ninja within you makes it to the Emmys as well this year.

11. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

There’s no way Brooklyn Nine-Nine can get away without being nominated for an Emmy, and we’re so glad they can’t.

12. How to Get Away with Murder

Getting away with murder like a boss for five seasons and we’ve still not had enough. Neither have the Emmys.

13. The Simpsons

 

Another year, another Emmys where The Simpsons is nominated. Who would’ve contested that?

14. Jimmy Kimmel Live

Live with Jimmy Kimmel are the words that bring back life to our souls. And, of course, Jimmy’s witty comments and amazing guests have something to do with that.

15. Black Mirror

The freaky manner in which technology manipulates people’s behavior definitely seemed to have created a big fan-base the last couple of seasons. And we can’t wait for more.
