5 Quick And Easy Winter Makeup Looks That You Can Do In A Jiffy

‘Tis the season for warm woolen scarves, boots, berry lips, and glitter eyeshadow and even though the holiday season is going to be different this year, the holiday spirit doesn’t have to be. You can still decorate the house, bake delicious cinnamon cookies, and have a blast with your friends over Zoom.

One thing that always gets me in the party mood is getting dressed and I think that’s with a lot of people. So if you’re doing a small gathering within your COVID bubble or if you’re doing on over Zoom we’ve got some quick and easy makeup looks that will look oh-so glam and that too just under ten minutes.

Red Lip Classic Thing

Black is almost everyone’s December party colour and the one makeup item that goes perfectly well with it is red lipstick. It instantly elevates anything you’re wearing and makes it party-ready. Since red is a bold colour, we suggest that you line your lips first and then fill them in with a matte lip colour of your choice. Since that’ll be the focus, keep the eyes neutral or lightly smoked out.

Shimmer Eyes For The Win

The fastest way to look like you’ve put in more effort than you actually have is by using liquid, metallic shadow all over your lids and then using a matte bronze shade to blend it out in the crease. Put coats and coats of mascara, do a quick glowy base, apply your go-to nude lipstick and you’re done!

Dramatic Winged Liner

I know winged liner may seem daunting to most people but actually, once you get the hang of it it’s super easy and happens really quickly. If you’re looking for a hack then you can apply tape to either side of your eyes and use it as a stencil. In one stroke you’ll look ready to rock the night away!

Glowy Skin Is In

Another quick makeup look to do actually has little to do with makeup and more to do with the prep before it. If you moisturise and prime your skin with radiance-boosting products, you’ll get a beautiful sheen. Go over it with a BB cream or even just concealer and you’ll notice the difference. Fill in your brows, apply mascara and a coloured lipgloss and that’s it.

The Quickest Smokey Eye

The trick with a quick smokey eye is to apply jet, black eyeshadow to your upper lashline and then smudge it out using a flat brush the best you can. Then take a neutral brown colour and use it as a transition shade. Coat your lashes with mascara, do your base, apply a brownish nude lipstick and you’ll look like a million bucks.

So, pout and have fun and be safe!
