Parineeti Chopra Rocked A Gorg Smokey Eye & You Can Recreate It For Your BFF’s Sangeet

Shaadi season is upon us again and it feels like every time we refresh Instagram there’s someone new getting hitched. Even celebrities have started getting married one after the other from Varun Dhawan to Dia Mirza everyone is basking in nuptial bliss. So, if you’re invited to one of these gala events too then we’ve got just the right makeup look that you should recreate–Parineeti Chopra’s smokey eye makeup.

The diva just took to Instagram to share photos of her classic makeup look and we’re showing you a quick and easy way to pull it off.

Here’s How You Can Rock Parineeti Chopra’s Timeless Makeup Look In Just Four Steps

Step One: Prime Your Skin

We’ve said it time and time again, prepping and priming your skin is the most important step when it comes to makeup. Take some time out to moisturise your face, give it a massage to make it look plumper and then go in with a primer. Use one that fills in your pores and gives you a shine-free base. You can concentrate this on the areas that tend to get oily faster like the T-zone, chin, and forehead.

Step Two: Focus On The Eyes

Since the eye makeup is everything in this look, start with it because there will be eyeshadow fallout on your skin and you don’t want it to ruin your foundation. Dab an eyelid primer all over your lid or you can even use a concealer for this, and then apply a brown eyeshadow shade in the crease. Move in windscreen wiper motions with your brush and blend out the colour. Then apply black eyeshadow on your lid and keep the darkest pigment closest to your lash line. The key with a smokey eye is to move slowly and keep blending until everything looks seamless.

Step Three: It’s All About That Base

For your base, use your fav foundation and dab it into your skin with a damp beauty blender. Then apply concealer to the high points of your face and under your eyes, to hide the puffiness and dark circles. You can set all the cream products with a loose powder and bronze up your face with a matte bronzer too. This will add some colour and definition to the face.

Step Four: Brows On Fleek

You can now go ahead and finish your eyes by applying the same black eyeshadow to your lower lashline and smoking it out, this will make the look more coherent. Then apply coats of mascara, fill in your brows and you’re almost done.

Step Five: Get, Set, Pout

Just like Parineeti, dab on a pinkish satin-matte lipstick because it will complement your smokey eye beautifully. And go ahead and post a million selfies on Instagram.

The best part about this look is that you can pair it with just about anything–ethnic outfits, an all-black look, or even a sequins number. It’s timeless and versatile and we can’t wait for you to try it out.
