For Dry Skin In The Scorching Heat

Honey is a natural humectant that attracts moisture and locks it into the skin. That, mixed with papaya pulp, makes for a hydrating and nourishing face pack that you should consider if your skin cracks in dry heat.

Here’s what you need to do – in a bowl, pour half a cup of ripe papaya pulp. Add two tablespoons of raw milk to it and one tablespoon of honey. Apply this mixture onto your face and neck for 15-20 minutes and wash with cold water after. Do this twice a week in the summer.

For Acne That Flares Up In The Summer

Papaya, honey and lemon are quite the ace combination that attacks acne at the root. While the enzymes in papaya and lemon clean your pores thoroughly, they also ward off acne-causing bacteria. Honey, on the other hand, boosts the moisture level of the skin.

All you have to do is add a teaspoon of honey to mashed papaya. Next, squeeze one lemon into the mix. Apply this on your face and neck and wash it off after about 20 minutes. Do this once every 4-5 days for best results.

To Tighten Skin Pores

Large pores are a major concern for many of us and one of the most effective treatments for this is applying egg white. Egg white controls the production of excess sebum and reduces the appearance of large pores.

Mix up some papaya pulp and frothy egg white, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. Adding papaya will ensure that the enzymes in it cleanse the pores thoroughly.

For Complexion As Bright As The Summer Sun

Both lemon and papaya are loaded with the goodness of Vitamin C. Lemon is also a natural bleaching agent that lightens the skin tone. So, when the harmful rays of the sun play spoilsport for your skin, go for this brightening face pack.

To some papaya pulp in a bowl, add the juice of half a lemon. Apply this mix on your face and wash off after 20 minutes. Do this thrice a week for glowing skin all through the hot months.

For A Soothing Effect On Your Skin

Cucumber has a cooling effect on your skin, something you’re going to love on a hot summer day. Bananas contain healthy fat that is hydrating for the skin and they also smoothen out any fine lines or wrinkles.

Mash up some banana, papaya and cucumber, and apply the mixture all over your face and neck. Wash off with lukewarm water one, and follow that with a cold water rinse. Do this twice a week to have healthy and happy skin this summer.

Oily Skin Essentials

Not only are oranges packed with Vitamin C, but they also act as a natural astringent that controls the oiliness of the face. And when you mix papaya pulp and the juice of 6-7 pieces of orange, they also have brightening properties, lightening dark spots, blemishes and any sort of pigmentation.

Apply some ripe papaya pulp and orange juice on your face for 8-10 minutes, and wash off with lukewarm water. Apply this face mask once a week throughout the summer. This will take care of tanning and will ensure your complexion doesn’t become dull in the heat.

Hair Removal Hacks

Yes, ladies, you can get rid of that unwanted facial fuzz with the help of papaya and turmeric. While the enzymes present in papa loosen hair follicles, the turmeric with its antimicrobial properties keeps the follicles from getting infected.

Mash the papaya and mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder in it. Apply this on your face and neck and leave it to dry. Massage it with your fingertips using circular motions. Rinse with cold water.
