Love means different things to different people. It makes you feel like you’re on cloud 9. While some people fall in love with someone and marry them, some don’t. Love in an arranged marriage depends a lot on the courtship period and, many a times, people fall in love after getting married to someone. Wondering what it’s like? Well, a few newlyweds on Quora shared their couple stories and they are just adorable. Here, read them all and we’re sure it’ll bring a smile on your face.

1. “Dear husband, finally you have asked me out” – When he asks you out on a date after you’re married… *Aww*

Vaibhav Chawla answers on Quora:

Arman and Anya were a newly married couple. Three months after the beginning of their new life, Arman asked out Anya for a dinner.

“Not bad! Dear husband, finally you have asked me out”, commented Anya.

“Can’t help. If you had been a bit more beautiful, I would have asked you out, earlier”, mocked Arman.

Anya got a bit serious and expressed, “You know, I always wanted a love marriage. I never believed in arranged marriages.”

Arman held her hands and joked “Well, I disagree. No sane guy would ever commit suicide willingly. Also, you wouldn’t have got a smart, intelligent and a nice guy like me, otherwise.”

“Arman!! Can you ever be serious? Stop your stupid humour”, sighed Anya.

He put his one hand on her waist, one hand in her hands, helped her to get on her feet and guided her body into a romantic dance, fixed his eyes into hers and whispered, “We would recollect our memories today and smile, but I promise you my dear wife, we will do it over and over again in the daylight and in the night sky, even when we grow old and ugly, without teeth but with love.”

Tears rolled down her eyes and she pecked a kiss on his cheek.

Arman wiped her tears and said, “Till then, Gotham needs Batman. Gotta go pretty woman. Meet you after office at the dinner”, he said.

2. “He clicked a picture of hers and made a wish” – Because wishes do come true!

Prachurjya answers on Quora:

“Present: It was completely a typical arranged marriage. The guy and the girl never met each other, didn’t even have a look. All was fixed by their respective parents. But here lies the twist, though it was an arranged marriage, the boy had already seen the girl 4 years before their wedding.

4 years ago: 4 years back the girl had to attend a wedding of a close relative and the guy too was present in the same wedding. During the Varmala ritual the guy happened to see this girl and had already fallen for her. He clicked a picture of hers and made a wish that –  I wish I get married to this girl.

Present: And after 4 years, the guy gets married to the same girl. Nobody was aware of this fact. The guy just recently told this secret to the girl (his wife) after few days of the wedding. The guy still has that picture with him.”

3. “He missed everything because Meera wasn’t around” – When you begin to depend on each other.

Dhawal Barot Answers on Quora:

The mobile buzzed and it was Meera from the other side. His wife Meera, who went to her father’s home for vacation. Raj realized that he couldn’t connect to her throughout the whole day.

He picked up the call and from the other side the firing of complains executed.

Like any other Indian wife Meera asked, “Do you remember that you’ve a wife?” and she added, “Tell me one thing, did you book your appointment with doctor?”

Raj realized quickly that he forgot it. Thus, he answered, “I missed that!”

“Great! Tell me, what more you missed?” Meera asked sarcastically.

That moment Raj realized that from the morning’s breakfast to that feel in the dinner’s food, he missed everything because Meera wasn’t around. In that fresh time of his marriage, first time he realized that he started depending on his partner. For a moment, he smiled.

But, the next moment as an outcome of his realization, he murmured, “I MISSED YOU.”

On the other side of mobile, Meera heartfelt it. She blushed, but she was in an angry mood. Thus, she kept fighting because she was not only a lover, but a wife too.”

The milk was already boiled, rice steamed in the cooker, and vegetables had been cut. I saw my husband and asked “Why are you doing this? I can do it please don’t think I am incapable or something”. Then he held my hand and said “Didn’t your mom ever teach you? Shaarrringggg” and we giggled, together.”
