8 Things You Should Keep In Mind Before Making Your First Sex Tape Ever

So, you’ve decided to make a sex tape. You’ve officially entered the kink zone and that’s great. The thought of making one alone needs a lot of courage. But, you require a lot more to go on with the tape instead of courage, alone. Here’s what you really need to know about making your first ever sex tape

1. It’s Easier Said Than Done

If porn is what inspired you to create your first sex tape; it’s great. But, don’t for once consider it to be as easy as it looked in that porno flick. There were probably a hundred different retakes before they got it right

2. Positioning Is Key

While we’re talking about the camera angles, sure, we can also consider the sex position you choose to showcase on camera. The key is for you and your partner to look and feel good both in front and behind the camera. It’s just so that when you’re watching it later, you’re not alarmed by the way you look.

3. Light It Up

You have to play up the lighting in the room of your choice. Don’t switch all the lights off – you won’t be able to tell if the video is being filmed well or not. And definitely don’t turn on every little light in the room either – you want the video to actually show two people getting down and dirty; not just light bouncing off the surfaces. Go for some warm yellow light that would even make for a visual treat.

4. Take Your Time

Don’t set a timer to your video. This probably means you need to record on a device that has enough memory space to last about 2 to 3 hours, generously. Ease into yourself – talk about what you’re about to do, laugh and say something lighthearted. The idea is to enjoy yourselves while creating your first sex tape. Point to remember: you should probably do this with a partner you’ve been with long enough to be comfortable in your own skin with.

5. Keep It Simple

Sure, in the X-rated movies, they use a lot of props and role play. But, this is your first time. You’re no pro; you just want to experiment with something new and have fun while you’re at it. So, don’t go for any heavy duty sex toys or complicated role play scenarios. Stick to what you’re familiar with and what both of you enjoy. If that happens to be something as simple as missionary, then that’s the way to go.

6. Don’t Try Too Hard

As is the case with any relationship, dating and having sex with someone for the first time, while filming your first sex tape, too, you should remember not to try too hard. Don’t build the expectations and the imagination up in your head to the extent that you’re no longer in the present moment. There’s always a huge disparity between what we imagine something to be and how it actually turns out. Enter the room, quite literally, with a clear head and expect nothing over the top to happen.

7. There Will Be Goof-Ups

Even if this isn’t the first time you’ve been in front of the camera, this very well is the first time you’ve been filming a sex tape in front of the camera. It’s okay to be nervous and fumble. It’s okay to burst into laughter in the middle of it all, or even voice your concern to your partner while you’re at it. There are even chances that either one of you may not even climax because you’re subconsciously aware of being filmed. Take it in your stride and don’t make a big deal about it.

8. Mind Your Surroundings

The room you decide to film your first sex tape in is of prime importance. It should be one that you and your partner are both comfortable in. To keep it simple and hassle-free, stick to the bedroom. Stay away from any sharp objects or edges so as to avoid hurting yourself while in the act. Most of all, ensure that those are your own private surroundings where you can rest assure no one will intrude.
