From Pancakes To Parathas: 5 Wild Maggie Recipes I’ve Tried That You’ve Got To Recreate

When was the first time you had Maggi?

Err… Who knows? Haven’t most of us been eating this warm bowl of comfort since forever? Well, I have. Truth be told, I even had it for lunch today! Yes, I *am* aware that we shouldn’t eat Maggi every day, but wouldn’t the world be a better place if we could?

My love for this unbeatable dish grew even stronger when I started living in a hostel during my college days. From saving me from the disaster known as mess ka khana to giving me company during my late-night gossip sesh with BFFs, Maggi has been a constant in my life.

If it isn’t already obvious, I’m a self-proclaimed ~connoisseur~ of Maggi and have legit tried every recipe that can possibly exist. It all started when I added ketchup on it (don’t @ me because it is going to get better/weirder) and discovered that Maggi was possibly the most versatile snack that mankind ever invented. Fir kya tha, I put on the chef’s hat and tried different Maggi variations that generations to come will cherish forever.

Don’t believe me? Then check out these wild Maggi recipes that I tried and thank me later!

5 Of The Wildest Maggi Recipes That You’ll Ever Come Across

No offence to the OG recipe, but who doesn’t like a little bit of twist and tadka in their good ol’ fashioned steaming bowl of Maggi? Check out these offbeat recipes and try all of them ASAP ‘cus they’re super yumm!

Burger Maggi

Remember how we sometimes brought Maggi in our lunchbox to school and had it while it was all frozen and sticky? One fine day, while craving for the same unbeatable taste, I ended up storing Maggi in a small rectangular lunchbox in my refrigerator. A brilliant idea clicked soon after and it was then when I decided that my frozen Maggi was meant to be a burger instead.

Maggi Parantha

This is the parantha that even Delhi’s famous Paranthe Wali Gali does not offer! You might have heard about aloo, gobhi, and dal parantha, but did you ever try making Maggi parantha? I did, and it was epic! NGL, it takes some effort because cooking a round parantha ain’t everyone’s cup of tea. But trust me guys, you’ll get there!

P.S. Make sure the Maggi is not hot while stuffing and do not apply too much pressure as the dough might break.

Maggi Pancake

Almost all of us have tried spicy, tangy, and soupy Maggi but have you ever tried sweet Maggi? This recipe is not for the faint-hearted and only a real foodie can try it. Who knows? You might end up loving it more than your regular pancakes!

Maggi Pizza

Here’s a transcript of my thoughts while trying this yummilacious dish:

Maggi? Perfect.

Veggies? Why not?

Cheese? Yes, please.

More Cheese? Hell yeah!

Is there anyone in the world who can say no to this deadly combination? We doubt! Are you super excited to know how it’s done? We think so!

Maggi Cake

I’ll be honest, I tried this recipe as a prank but it turned out quite tasty in the end! Remember how we all do stupid stuff when we’re in hostel? That’s what I did to surprise my roommate on her birthday. I cooked her an unconventional cake with whatever food supplies we had in our closets (think: Oreo biscuits, Hershey’s syrup, bananas, and more). Interestingly enough, the birthday girl loved it and so did I. Think you’re going to love it too? No harm in trying!
