Kareena Has More Chemistry With Sleek Buns Than Geet & Aditya From Jab We Met

Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s bun has a lot to say. At the airport, it says laidback and effortless. But at weddings, it says glamorous. On some occasions, it’s aspirational. On others, you can picture yourself wearing it.

Kapoor truly shares more chemistry with slick-back buns than Geet and Aditya from Jab We Met. Here are all the different places Kareena has taken the bun, and made it her go-to hairdo.

It’s Her Plus One To Weddings

Kareena might have entered Sid and Kiara’s reception with K.JO, but her hairdo was her plus-one to the wedding. The actress’ dewy-dumpling look couldn’t have been captured better. The bun felt all sorts of glamorous and elegant in this case. I cannot imagine another hairstyle in place of this one.

She Goes Into Boss Mode With It

Coupled with a purple pant-suit, the hairdo played into the actress’ boss-babe look effortlessly. While Kapoor opted for dark cat-eye flicks, she let the lips and nails remain minimal. Notice how her hair fit perfectly with the actress’ style and vibe.

It Goes Hand-In-Hand With Meditation

How did the bun go from chic and confident to laidback and casual so quickly? Only Kapoor knows. But I’m taking notes anyway.

Runways & Ramps Have Seen It Too

Kareena has sported the style even on runways, making it more aspirational! This was back in 2021 at the Lakmé Fashion Week. The actress didn’t go light on the lips but the hairdo took well to drama and glamour, like it always does.

It’s Perfect For Going Out & About

Kareena often wears the ‘do when she’s stepping out to run errands or even on shoot days. And she’s not alone! It looks like big sis, Karisma Kapoor, is a fan too.

Get Bebo’s Look:

To recreate the hairstyle, run a few drops of oil or serum through your hair to settle flyaways and frizz. Create a centre part and sweep your hair back into a low ponytail. Secure it with an elastic to set the base for the bun. Then, go on to twist the length of the hair until you’ve reached the tips and rotate the twisted length around the base of the ponytail. Secure the bun with one or two hair ties. I spritz my hair with some hairspray to hold the style for longer.

Kareena has clearly made the bun her signature, and in a way that no one has before!
