Huda Beauty is about to release another primer and the story behind this new launch is actually far more exciting. The beauty guru, before launching her first primer was testing out super bizarre ingredients to be used in her primers. In one of her videos, she used milk of magnesia, lubricant, and Vagisil as makeup primers and actually really ended up liking the Vagisil and milk of magnesia. Based on this crazy experience, she’s just dropped her brand new primer meant for oily skin. And guess what the key ingredient is!
She confesses to having used milk of magnesia and Vagisil to control her skin from looking too oily under makeup and lubricant to keep her skin moisturised under makeup.
The new primer formulated with magnesium and potassium may help absorb oils from your skin and keep your foundation completely matte and shine free. It’s also mineral based, lightweight, oil-free and contains 60% water. The primer launches on July 20, 2018 on Huda Beauty’s website.
As for me, I’m not too sure about using a primer with ingredients we usually associate with constipation and heartburn on my face, but, hey, if it’s going to keep me matte all day long, I’m in!
