Getting rid of dandruff is no easy feat and all of us have tried multiple products to get rid of this annoying flaky situation. But today, we’re telling you how to tackle dandruff without spending a dime. You guessed it right, we’ll be DIY-ing!

DIY Lemon Hair Pack

You’ll Need:

Step 1: In a bowl, add dahi and lemon juice and cut open two Vitamin E tablets.

Step 2: Mix everything well and apply it over your scalp for at least 45 minutes.

This DIY mask will greatly reduce the appearance of dandruff from the first application itself. Apply it after you’ve applied an anti-dandruff hair oil for better results!

DIY Onion Mask

You’ll Need:

Step 1: In a bowl, take a large onion and peel away its dry layers.

Step 2: Cut it into multiple pieces before putting them in a blender. Pro tip: Chewing some chewing gum while cutting onions will not make your eyes hurt. Spread the word!

Step 3: Add 1/2 cup water and turn on the blender. Make sure the onion turn into a fine puree before turning it off.

Step 3: Finally, pour the onion juice into the bowl but make sure to sieve it first.

Applying raw onion juice has so many amazing benefits for our hair and one of them happens to be getting rid of the dandruff-causing fungus. Apply this mask 1-2 times a week, keep it for 2 hours before washing off and we bet, you’ll be in love with your hair.

DIY Green Tea Hair Mask

You’ll Need:

Step 1: Take a green tea bag and put it in a mug full of boiling water for 30 minutes.

Step 2: In a blender, add the green tea and 3-4 tbsp. of fresh aloe vera and turn it on for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Pour the mixture into a bowl and then add both peppermint and tea tree essential oils in it and you’re done.

This DIY hair mask for dandruff is perfect for anyone who has a severe dandruff solution and is tired of constantly scratching their dry scalp.
