Now That Navratri Is Over, Here Are All The Non-Vegetarian Dishes You Can Eat!

In a country that boasts of 1.3 billion people, all celebrating a multitude of regional and religious festivals, there’s a celebration happening nearly every other day! One such Hindu festival is Chaitra Navratri, which is celebrated in the Hindu month of Chaitra that falls usually around March and April. The period of nine days marks the transition from spring to summer, at a time when our immunities are most vulnerable and we are more prone to encounter diseases. Fasting and eating light during this period helps detoxify your body and improve your immunity as well.

This year, Chaitra Navratri began from 18th March to 25th March, and if you’re a die-hard foodie who has patiently allowed your body the much-needed detox it required during the past week, then today is the day you’ve been waiting for with bated breath. Now that Navratri is over and you can go back to indulging in the sweet and savoury arms of non-vegetarian delicacies that you’ve been missing, here are pictures of some mouth-watering dishes that you’re going to love going through!

1. Nothing says succulent than a beautiful plate of tandoori chicken just waiting to be devoured!

2. Gaining in on a close second we have chicken wings that look too good to be true!

3. In a list meant for food lovers, can a juicy cheeseburger be far behind?

4. When cheesy pizza slices are what you believe love feels like!

5. The devotion you show towards a steaming plate of chicken biryani can put all the lovers in the world to shame

6. The thought of biting into these tender steaks is already making your heart beat faster

7. You truly believe that shawarma is the most beautiful way of saying “I love you” and nothing else comes close!

8. The simple existence of the finger-licking goodness of Kheema Pav makes the world a better place to live in

9. Prawns on a plate make your heart and your palate both sing with joy!

10. Bacon? More like ‘bae-con’, because this scrumptious devil goes straight to the heart!

You’re welcome. And yeah, that’s probably the sound of your tummy rumbling in protest, so happy eating!
