Yes, the traditional red colour has its own charm when it comes to bridal outfits. But there’s something magical about brides wearing pastel lehengas. So pretty they are and also perfect for a day wedding. Bride Priyanka Jiwanani, whose pictures we stumbled upon today, proves exactly that. She was nothing less than pastel perfection on her D-day as she chose the combination of light pink and ivory and left us mesmerised with her shaadi look.

On her big day, she wore an ivory lehenga with golden embroidery, and paired it with a light pink dupatta. The gold embroidery on both her dupattas–the pink and the ivory–was limited to the borders and had small butis distanced perfectly all over. Meanwhile, the choli was full of heavy embroidery. Even though there’s nothing called ‘too-much jewellery’ when it comes to your shaadi, Priyanka opted not to go OTT with her accessories. She wore a gold choker, matching earrings and a pearl and gold maathapatti while ditching the nath and haathphoolShedding the usual red, Priyanka wore pink chura, and we totally loved it.
