Gone Too Soon: Bollywood Mourns The Death Of Black Panther Actor, Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman, who won over all our hearts as the regal Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe, died on Friday of cancer at the age of 43. He was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago, however, he hadn’t spoken publically about his diagnosis. The actor was in Los Angeles and he passed away at his home with his wife and family by his side.

“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more – all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honour of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther”, his family said in a statement.

The phenomenal actor was remembered by Bollywood stars who took to social media to pay a tribute to him. From Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to Diljit Dosanjh and Athiya Shetty, everyone honoured his contribution to the world of cinema and sent their prayers to his family.
