To the technique discussed above, instead of going to the market and buying new material, take a large piece of fabric from home and use that instead. Give your old bedsheet or your mother’s saree a fashionable upgrade. However, this can be a little challenging to do unless the other materials have a similar base colour. Found something? Well, run to your tailor! Run like the wind!

3. Chandni Chowk Ka Chakkar

Like we fashion girls need a reason to go to Chandni Chowk! Visit one of the many wholesale shops in the Chandni Chowk market and buy some dress material. It’s so easy to bargain the prices there. Make sure to check with your tailor how much fabric he will need to make the outfit from scratch. Take your mom along, have some hot paranthe at the Paranthe wali gali, chilled and creamy kulfi faluda, and make a day out of it.
