IAF Pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s Parents Get Standing Ovation On Their Flight
In a recent update, Pakistan’s government has decided to release Indian Air Force (IAF) Pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman who was in their custody after his jet crashed in Pakistan during the surgical strike. The Pakistan government is calling it a gesture of peace and the release ceremony will take place at 2 PM at the Wagah border, today.
In order to receive their son, Abhinandan’s parents took a flight from Chennai to New Delhi and were surprised on the plane. When passengers on the flight realised that they were Abhinandan’s parents, all of them decided to give them a standing ovation as a sign of respect. The video of the same has surfaced on the internet.
