Maharashtra couple, Vivek Patil and Swapnali Dhabugade met for the first time on a trekking expedition. So when they were getting married, they wanted a venue that would remind them of their first meeting! And what could be better than Mt. Kalsubai, the tallest mountain peak in Maharashtra?!

Forget the phoolon ki chadar, this Punjabi couple raised the swag at their wedding by making a jaw-dropping entry on a hoverboard. The duo not only balanced themselves aptly on the device but also managed to have fun and dance while at it. Must have taken a lot of practice, no?

A fitness freak couple ran a whopping 25 km to get married. The couple met during marathon events and wanted to promote the message of fitness through their wedding. The bride and groom wore white t-shirts, track pants, running shoes and red turbans and ran to the marriage registrar’s office where they exchanged vows amidst a cheering audience.

To prove how deep their love is (quite literally!) this Maharashtra couple decided to say “I do” in a unique ceremony underwater. The traditional Hindu ceremony which went on for a good one hour took place in a swimming pool in Mumbai. The couple even had an unconventional engagement dangling mid-air (295 ft above the ground, to be precise).

On A Trek

This couple first met on a trek after being introduced by some mutual friends. The adventure junkies eventually fell in love and three years later, when they decided to tie the knot they embarked on a journey to the same trek.
