Set in Amritsar where names like Harpreet (Happy) are as loved as the colour pink, the movie takes you to China and there starts the chaos of 'Where is Happy?' and 'Who is Happy?' The movie did have some questionable jokes on Chinese and dull moments, but Jimmy Shergill shines as a contractor and gives us some laughs. Tune in if you want to watch something light.

The movie manages to terrify you in spite of not having any unnecessary frills. No unnecessary sound effects and no typical horror movie stuff. Anushka Sharma's production is gripping and her acting memorable.

Rumi’s family finds out and the pressure to marry starts trickling down. The story introduces Abhishek Bachchan as the eligible bachelor her parents choose for her. The conflict between the man you love and the man your parents have chosen for you resonates with many. All three actors have done a great job with the movie and we gave it 3.5 stars.

This Karan Johar movie was a reminder that honour killing and caste divide are still very real in the 21s century India.

A true Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie, Padmaavat is a regal spectacle you must watch for its sheer larger than life narration. The plot revolves a Rajput ruler and a Turk emperor hungry for power. This movie got backlash from the Rajput community before its release - from people breaking the movie set to protesting on the streets. Sanjay Leela Bhansali had to change the name of the movie from Padmavati to Padmaavat, but when it finally released, Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid were applauded for their performances.

Following an investigation into the events, the man's family is held accountable for his actions. Director Anubhav Sinha does a great job in portraying Islamophobia - he subtly brings to light how Muslims are targeted in their own country.

After rigorous training, she travels to Pakistan and ends up falling in love with her husband. The Indian woman and the Pakistani family are both thinking about their countries and a dialogue that resonates with both is, "Mulk ke samne mujhe apna aap nazar nahi aata."


A hard-hitting tale where Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal get into the skin of their characters and shine through.
