What I'm about to tell you is going to blow your mind! A habit that you love, needs to be broken for your own good. What is it, you ask? Drying your face using a towel. We're ALL guilty of wiping our face as soon as we wash it, right? However, did you know that air-drying your face is a better option?
Yes, not touching your face with any cloth can actually do more good than harm. Think about it, hand and face towels are always wet and soggy. Anything that's left wet and unattended, becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. There are some homes that don't wash their hand and face towels for weeks. Plus, with dead skin cells, dirt and product residue, your towel is probably one of the most unhygienic products to use on that pretty face of yours. Wiping your face with a towel like this can not only clog your pores but also transfer the dirt and bacteria from the towel to the skin.
Most of the bacteria found in towels are very harmful, however, if you have a cut or sensitive skin, you could be tempting acne to make an appearance without an invitation. Which is why I urge you to try air-drying your face!

Step 3: Step away from the sink and go for a walk.
Yep, you heard me, go for walk and allow your face to dry naturally. In just 5 minutes, your skin is dry and squeaky clean. If you're running late, use a tissue or stand in front of the fan for 20-30 seconds. You can do this for your body too! Air-drying is easy, saves money and is good for the environment too. I'm going to try this experiment today, what about you?!
