Plenty of celebs have flaunted the faux bomb. You can either straighten your hair first for a sleek style or rock a wavy bob for a vintage vibe. Perfect these simple steps to fake a bob every time you feel like channeling some sexy sass.
Step 1: Apply a bit of shine serum to your locks to make them smoother and to help tame flyaways.
Step 2: Gather up the top section of your hair and pin it up on top of your head.
Step 3: Divide the rest of your hair into two sections. Begin plaiting each section and secure them at the end with an elastic.
Step 4: Use your fingers to roll the braid up and tuck it at the nape of your neck. Secure by pinning to your scalp with bobby pins. Do this with the second braid as well. Put in an extra pin or two for extra hold.
Step 5: Let the top section down. If your hair is layered, let the shorter layers cascade over the tucked-in sections. If your hair is all one-length, roll the ends and tuck below the pinned sections. Use pins to secure.
Step 6: Spritz some hairspray to make sure it all stays in place.
This is a perfect hairstyle to try when you want to get out of a boring hair rut without actually snipping off your mane. Use some pretty pins to dress up the look!
