Parth Samthaan To Mohena Kumari, All The TV Celebs Who Tested Positive For COVID-19

It has been more than eight months and the country is still battling the novel coronavirus. And ever since the pandemic hit the country, we’ve only been hearing bad news. The case count has already reached 4.28 million and many who are slowly resuming work are at risk of contracting the virus. In fact, many Bollywood and TV celebrities have tested positive. Recently, actor Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora confirmed testing positive for the virus. In the recent past, actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aradhaya also tested positive for COVId-19. The TV actors who are back on the sets have also contracted the virus proving that no one is immune to this virus.

Parth Samthaan

The Kasauti Zindagii Kay actor Paarth Samthaan tested positive soon after he started shooting. Parth has now recovered and is back on the sets of KZK. “As you all know by now, my reports are negative and I feel much better now. Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers. Thanks a ton. God Bless You,” he recently wrote on in an Instagram post.

Sanjay Kaushik

Sanjay Kaushik, who plays the role of Rishimuni Narad in the mythological show Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram, resumed shooting a while ago. The actor recently tested positive. “I started coughing a bit, so I went for a routine check-up. I was told that I had tested positive and soon after, I started getting a cold and fever. As soon as I was told about it, I immediately returned home, so that no one else on sets was infected because of me,” he said in an interview with a leading news channel.

Karam Rajpal

Actor Karam Rajpal, the male lead Gudiya Hamari Sab Pe Bhaari has also tested positive for coronavirus. Reportedly, Karam developed mild fever and cold and has been under observation since then.

Sapna Malik

Sapna Malik, who is a part of Roadies Revolution, shared videos to inform her fans about her condition. In the video, she said, “So I got tested as Corona positive and right now I am in an isolation ward. This is just a heads up for those all those people who are not taking Covid-19 as seriously as they should and not following precautions. This is not a joke guys. The symptoms are very severe and they are very painful. Just stay safe.”

Additi Gupta

Additi Gupta, known for her role in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, was all set to join the cast of a new show when she tested positive for COVID-19. Additi is has quarantined herself at home. 

The cast & crew of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehtala Hai

Actor Sachin Tyagi (who plays Manish Goenka in the show) was the first one to test positive and six more members of the show have tested positive as well. All of them have shown mild symptoms and have thus been home quarantined for now. Shortly after reports of him testing positive came out, Sachin shared that he contracted the virus despite following all the precautions. Meanwhile, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer Rajan Shahi shared in a media statement that the set was sanitised and fumigated. The shooting has been stalled until further notice.

Shrenu Parikh

Shrenu Parikh tested positive for COVID-19 after she resumed shooting in July. “Hey everyone have been away for a while but the bugger hasn’t spared me…was found COVID positive a few days ago, and I’m now recovering in the hospital! Keep me and my family in your prayers,” the Ishqbaaz actress had written in her Instagram post.

Mohena Kumari

Actress Mohena Kumari tested positive along with her entire family in June. She, however, had mild symptoms and recovered after a few weeks.

Even though the government has eased down the restrictions, we need to understand that the pandemic hasn’t gone anywhere. The number of cases that have gone up in the past few days is proof that we can’t afford to go lax on precautions. Step put only if it’s absolutely necessary. Stay home, stay safe!
