TV Actor Parth Samthaan Tests Positive For COVID-19, Fans Wish Him Speedy Recovery

Just last night we got the news that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus and today we heard that even Aishwarya and Aaradhya's tests came out to be positive. While the entire film fraternity is sending them love and best wishes, we have got some more scary news to share.

Television actor Parth Samthaan, who plays Anurag Basu in the Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot, also tested positive for COVID-19. The actor had started shooting for the show and all of last week, he was working on the sets. After the reports of actor testing positive, the shooting was immediately stopped and the crew members who were in close contact with him have been asked to undergo tests.

He took to social media to share the diagnosis saying that he has mild symptoms. He wrote, "Hi everyone, I had mild symptoms and got myself tested. And yes I have been tested Positive for COVID-19 ...hence I would urge and request everyone who been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested. The BMC has regularly been in touch and with the doctor's guidance I am in self-quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support. Please be safe and take care 😇"

On June 27, Parth shared some photos of him being back to work and gave us a sneak peek into the Kasautii Zindagii Kay sets. He wrote, "Back to Shoot after 3 months. Back to normalcy! #unlockindia"

Parth had flown to Hyderabad a while ago after domestic flight services resumed. He returned to Mumbai to resume the Kasautii Zindagii Kay shoot last month.

Fans wish him speedy recovery
