There's no star kid as popular in Bollywood as Taimur Ali Khan. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's son has been hogging the limelight ever since the day he was born. He is the paparazzi's favourite and they make sure to keep a track of the cutie patootie's every move.
A few days ago, Kareena did a live Instagram and Facebook session with her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar and hubby Saifu, in which they revealed the secrets of Kareena's daily diet. They also discussed how people should focus on being fit and healthy instead of being thin or skinny. During the 45-minute session, Kareena revealed that she is a paranoid mother and when it comes to what Taimur eats, she is very particular.
Taimur Ali Khan only eats healthy and home-cooked food, just like his mother. Kareena mentioned how her two-year-old son is not allowed to have food at birthday parties: "I am hyper-paranoid. He goes to birthday parties and he is not allowed to eat outside. But that's also wrong but yeah." At this moment, Saif interjected and said that he is occasionally allowed to have chips.
Taimur's diet consists mostly of healthy food cooked at home, such as khichdi, idli and dosa. Kareena revealed that she also makes a diet plan for him, which changes every month. "I sit on a plan also. Every month I alternate it accordingly. Whatever fruits and vegetables he should be eating in the month... he quite enjoys it," said the 38-year-old actress.
During the discussion, Kareena said that she ensures that Taimur is always eating healthy. She is very conscious about his diet and sometimes even forces healthy food down his throat. She said, "Today, he actually had saag (spinach) for lunch and he normally didn't like it but I have been shoving it down his throat. So now he's got used to it. So he actually ate the whole bowl."
Kareena also talked about getting back in shape after giving birth to Taimur, "I think that's a lot of hard work and dedication towards food and the gym. People thought I did it very fast but I did it in an entire year by following a consistent plan, which is normal."
The Omkara actress concluded the session after giving another pro tip about her fitness mantra. She said that the key to feeling light and happy through the day and restful during the night is exercise and a good diet.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Raj Mehta's Good News opposite Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. She just finished shooting for the film and is currently shooting for the Irrfan Khan starrer, Angrezi Medium, a sequel to the 2017 hit movie Hindi Medium. She will also feature in Karan Johar’s Takht, which also stars Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
