Remember when Neha Kakkar broke down mid-performance fueling speculations about her break up with Himansh Kohli? Chances are you do, given that it was such a heartbreaking sight and made the entire nation root for Neha who later went on to admit that the two had in fact broken up. Well, Neha just got married to Rohanpreet Singh, looks like the happiest bride ever, and is clearly past those bad days.
However, seems like her fans aren’t really over it yet. There’s is no other way of explaining a highly edited and manipulated video that’s currently going viral on social media. The video starts with a still of Himansh Kohli and a dialogue box suggesting that he is asking Neha for an apology. “Nehu plz mujhe maaf kardo. I’m really sorry for hurting,” the dialogue box reads.
In the video that has been edited by lifting chunks from a conversation, Himansh can be seen saying, “Unhone jo jo kiya hai mere liye, I think she is my wonder woman. I’d also like to thank Neha..”
The video is being widely circulated on social media for a couple of days now and it was only after he discovered the same that Himansh decided to comment on it. Himansh has clarified that he has nothing to do with the video and that it happens to be a highly manipulated clip. He has further written in his Instagram stories, “I wonder when such manipulative content will be banned from social media. Who is benefitting from all this nonsense? What’s more upsetting is that people are sharing this actively. Please wake up and stop spreading the hatred and this fake post. Sudhar jao.”
However, it is not the first time that Himansh has faced something like this from Neha’s fans. Last year also Neha’s fans had come in her defense after she broke down on a reality show’s set mid-performance and bashed Himansh for breaking her heart. And while Neha was vocal about the break-up and made digs at her ex, Himansh kept mum and only addressed the issue once while speaking to a leading publication and saying, “Whatever happened has happened. I can’t change it. I still respect and wish the best for her. In bad times, we don’t stop respecting each other. She’s a fabulous artist and a wonderful person. I just wish that she gets whatever she wants in life, and blessed with happiness and good health.”
Well, we are with Himansh on this one and really don’t understand what these so-called “fans” get out by peddling lies. This video and more similar content is proof that a faction of B-Town fandom has issues with moving on and this clearly is not bringing any good to anyone. Hightime social media platforms start regulating and banning such problematic content!
