Singer Neha Kakkar and actor Himansh Kohli were considered to be one of the most adorable celebrity couples. Fans had even started hoping for them to tie the knot but all did not end well for the two. Rumours of their break up surfaced when both of them unfollowed each other on Instagram a few months ago. While Neha was always vocal about the breakup, Himansh for the first time in nine months has opened up on their relationship.
While speaking to a leading publication, Himansh said, “Whatever happened has happened. I can’t change it. I still respect and wish the best for her. In bad times, we don’t stop respecting each other. She’s a fabulous artist and a wonderful person. I just wish that she gets whatever she wants in life, and blessed with happiness and good health.”
Himansh also responded to a question on whether he would like to work with his ex-girlfriend in the future. He said that he is definitely open to offers. “Why not? Why will I say no to good work? If good offers come, as a professional, I will definitely work with her. Our song Oh Humsafar (2018) was a huge hit. People still say nice things about it. So I’ll never say no to working on an interesting project with Neha,” said the actor.
Himansh had proposed to Neha on the sets of reality show, Indian Idol, which was then being judged by Neha. The singer, in fact, had a hard time dealing with the breakup and even suffered from depression post her split. While Neha deleted most of the pictures and videos of them together, Himansh still has kept the photos on his Instagram handle.
On the work front, Neha Kakkar has been busy releasing blockbuster songs. She is popular in and around Bollywood for delivering hit numbers like Saki Saki, Dilbar, Chamma Chamma and many more.
