We were just talking about how Jahnvi Kapoor loves to stick to the classics when it comes to her makeup. A lit from within glow, gentle flush and bold lashes are what this Dhadak actor is comfortable with. Of course, she sometimes goes out on a limb with a red lip. But this week has been about pushing new boundaries. Earlier, we saw her wearing sporty double dutch braids with an Indian ensemble, and if that wasn't enough, we now see her with a sultry smokey eye.
You know there are times when the smokey eye just looks like it's too much to have on during the day and sometimes it's too black. Well, Janhvi Kapoor's smokey eye was JUST right and could be worn day or night. So, of course, we HAD to stalk Vardan Nayak, makeup artist extraordinaire again, so he would tell us how we could recreate this day-wear smokey eye.
Are you interested too? Well, let's break it down then!
Step 2: For foundation use the Luminous Silk Foundation by Giorgio Armani Beauty, for a 'lit from within' glow.
Step 3: Set the face with the M.A.C Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder.
Step 1: Prep the eyes with Becca Cosmetics Rose Gold Glow.
Step 2: For smokey eyes, start with smudging the M.A.C Pro Longwear Fluidline - Blacktrack all over the lids. Follow it up with the NYC eyeshadow from Anastasia Beverly Hills and M.A.C Matte Eye Shadow in the shade Embark to smudge the black shade on the lids.
Step 3: For the crease, dust Isabeal from the Master Mario Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills and highlight the eyes with the M.A.CxMickey Contractor blush in the shade Sur.
Step 4: Use the same M.A.C eyeliner on the lashline and waterline and then smudge it out with Embark to soften up the lines.
Step 5: Finish the look with a generous coating of the Better Than Sex mascara by Too Faced.
Step 6: Benefit Brow Zings Eyebrow Shaping Kit (medium) to get the brows on fleek.
Now that we have a detailed breakdown (thank you Vardan), when are you planning to give this one a try?
