The need of the hour lies in handling the menace before it’s too late and one of our favourite millennial Bollywood actors, Ananya Panday, is leading the charge on this.
The 20-year-old launched a ‘Swachh Social Media’ campaign under her digital social responsibility initiative ‘So Positive’ on Gandhi Jayanti by sharing a special video on Instagram.
Ananya captioned the video, “We all need to be the change that we want to see around us 🙏🏻 Today, I have pledged that I won’t use abusive language on social media with the intent to hurt someone 😇 If you also feel that we need our social environment to be cleaner and more positive, please take this step for a #SwachhSocialMedia ❤️ #SoPositive @sopositivedsr”
In the video, Ananya can be seen urging her fans to consider the repercussions of social media bullying, stressing upon the need to curb online abuse by actively seeking solutions.

Three months ago, Ananya had launched her Digital Social Responsibility initiative ‘So Positive (SO+)’. She took to Instagram and posted, “A part of growing up is taking responsibility & as a woke Millennial I, Ananya Panday introduce y’all to my Digital Social Responsibility initiative ‘So+’ ❤️ @sopositivedsr”.
On the work front, Ananya is currently shooting for her next, Pati Patni Aur Woh, alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. She will also be seen with Ishaan Khattar in Khaali Peeli, which is slated to release next year.
