The Ambanis officially welcomed their new bahu Shloka Mehta into their family this weekend with band, baja and baraat. Much like Isha’s, Akash and Shloka’s wedding was no less than a dream. All the biggies from the business industry and Bollywood attended the wedding ceremonies and the post-wedding bash. Despite being in the presence of our glamorous stars who always flaunt gorgeous makeup and experiment with new hairstyles, Shloka Mehta’s beauty look outshined all.
For the wedding ceremony, Shloka was decked in Kundan jewellery and a traditional red and golden lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Even with her bridal outfit and overpowering jewellery, Shloka’s makeup was one of the highlights of her look and ‘elegant’ is one word that describes it. The highlighter on her face made sure that her cheekbones were glowing subtly. To balance the overall look, she was wearing a punch-pink lipstick (not too dark, not too light – it was just right.) For her eyes, Shloka went for winged eyeliner and smokey makeup. Her look was finished with a clean, low bun.

For the post-wedding bash, Shloka went all out with her golden girl ensemble. She was dressed in an embellished golden lehenga by none other than Manish Malhotra. For the party, she let her hair down and added soft curls to them. In this look as well, Shloka kept her lip colour subtle and for the eyes, she went with a golden eyeshadow for a truly glam look.

With Maroon 5 singing their tunes for Shloka and Akash, the wedding was no short of a fairytale. After bringing Beyonce to India in Isha Ambani’s wedding, along with Maroon 5 Ambanis also invited Chainsmokers and Adam Levine to perform at the pre-wedding functions in Switzerland. Their wedding is indeed nothing short of a fairytale and the lovely bride and the groom as well, definitely look the part.
