“I have never lied to my sister” – said no girl who has a sister, EVER. Sure, sometimes she can do things to annoy you, but at the end of the day, life without her around, feels incomplete. In short, she is the masala to your maggie. Here are 11 white lies every sister has told her sibling. (Admit it! You’ve told a few of these too!)
1. “I don’t know where your favourite kurti is!”
Actually, I do. It’s in my closet.
2. “Mom said she wants you to wash do the dishes tonight.”
She might have asked me to do it, but I’m feeling super lazy and I personally think you do a better job at it anyway.
3. “Di, I think this dress looks better on me than on you”
Okay, I said that because I was hoping you’d let me keep it. *puppy eyes*
4. “Whatevs… But, mom and dad love me more!”
They love us both equally, but that furious expression on your face is priceless!
5. “OMG! I’ve been looking for these shoes since forever! Can you please buy them for me? I’ll pay you back. Pakka!”
Well, maybe not this year but next, for sure. Or… I have a better idea! Consider this to be your Diwali gift to me.
6. “I’m almost done using the bathroom. I’ll be out in 5 minutes!”
When I say 5, I mean half an hour, of course.
7. “You know what? I HATE you!”
Deep down, we both know that it isn’t true. You’re my BFF and I love you!
8. “Chill, I’ll give you the TV remote in exactly 10 minutes.”

I should I have called you to find out, but all those lovely dresses and shoes distracted me.
