One of the very best that Chennai has to offer, Kishkinta has been designed by specifically keeping families in mind. The park is spread over an area of 120 acres, and was founded by M.C. Punoose with an intention of providing families with an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Built in 1956, it is one of the oldest theme parks in Chennai, and is believed by some to be one of the first ever to be built in India. With amazing aqua experiences to offer, this is the perfect place for you to go when you want to have a good time with your loved ones!

Where: Varadarajpuram

How to get here: You can drive down to Tambaram and then take the Rajaji Salai route that will directly take you to Kishkinta. The park is just 5 kms away from Tambaram.

It boasts a whopping number of 51 rides (18 for children and 33 for adults), thus making Queens Land one of the best water parks in Chennai. One of the most fun water parks that Chennai has to offer, the Dizzee World is the absolute family destination. Situated at a distance of 35 kms from Chennai, the park demands some planning in advance. However, with as many as 60 thrilling rides to offer, it is definitely worth all the travel! It features a series of water roller coaster rides that it would be a sin to miss!

How to get here:

You can either take buses that go to Mahabalipuram and Kovalam and get off at Dizzee World.
Take a local train till Velachery, and then take a bus to the park.
