Last night’s episode was easily one of the craziest Bigg Boss episodes to date. And I mean that in all senses of the word. All hell broke loose in the house after Arshi Khan ended up irritating Vikas Gupta with constant provocation and bullying. While Vikas kept tolerating the constant poking from Arshi’s end for days at a stretch, he lost it in last night’s episode after she started making some really personal comments about his sexuality and family.
Already irritated by the fact that she kept touching him despite being warned against it by Bigg Boss, Vikas declared war against Arshi last night and asked her to back off before he unleashes his bad side. In fact, everyone else in the house also ended up getting irritated by Arshi’s constant hammering and asked her to stop.
Undeterred by the warnings, Arshi went on with her mind games, also got almost physical with him, and then started blaming him for pushing her. This is when all the housemates interfered and told Arshi clearly that Vikas had not even touched her. However, she went on with her badgering and took it to the point where she started talking about how she knows everything about Vikas’s mother and can say all of it on national television. This is when Vikas lost his restraint and ended up pushing her into the pool.
Vikas later broke down in the washroom area and in a heartbreaking meltdown kept talking about how he has been left alone and is tired of the contact attacks made at him. He was then eliminated from the house for pushing Arshi but not before Bigg Boss called her out for the problematic behaviour. The housemates too were on Vikas’s side. Jasmin, in fact, went on to call out the show for its double standards and how Aly Goni was spared from the elimination despite getting violent with Kavita Kaushik but Vikas had to leave the house.
We are with Jasmin on this and really think that the Bigg Boss makers take calls as per their convenience, thus revealing their hypocrisy, which was very apparent in last night’s episode. The netizens are both shocked and furious at Vikas’s elimination. They are calling out Bigg Boss for not addressing his concerns while Arshi kept harassing and bullying him.
Agreed that Vikas took it too far by pushing Arshi but why wasn’t she stopped while she was out and out bullying him? Also, why was Aly not punished in a similar fashion when he got violent with Kavita? Well, what can we say, it’s another day another instance of double standards at the Bigg Boss house.
