With less than 24 hours left for the big day, the Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif pre-wedding festivities are in full swing! And according to the grapevine, #VicKat’s haldi ceremony will take place in the afternoon.
A source close to the couple told an online portal, “There will be two haldi ceremonies. Today, Katrina’s sisters and their husbands, along with other relatives, will participate in the haldi. For them, this will be a new experience. Tomorrow (December 9), there will be a traditional haldi ceremony before the wedding. Vicky Kaushal will be a part of the haldi on December 9.”
A little birdie also told us that couple had their sangeet ceremony last night and it was a grand event. The entire wedding venue was dolled up for the celebration and Katrina and Vicky grooved on tracks like Teri Ore and Kala Chasma. Moreover, reportedly Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan and musical trio Shankar-Ehsan-Loy also performed at their sangeet. While the official pictures and videos of the event are still not out, a few photos and videos of the beautifully lit-up wedding venue went viral on the ‘Gram.
Before Vicky and Katrina’s grand sangeet ceremony, the actor’s mother reportedly arranged an intimate mahila sangeet for her would-be daughter-in-law. The buzz is that Vicky’s mom wanted to make Katrina’s family feel at ease with their Punjabi customs and traditions. A source close to the couple spilled the beans about the event. They said, “Veena ji is very fond of Katrina. And while there was a big Sangeet night planned in the evening, she wanted to do something more intimate and special and so she organized a small ladies sangeet ceremony just like the typical traditional Punjabi style.”
So far, the couple has not shared any snap or video on the ‘Gram. The most interesting thing about this wedding is that Vicky and Katrina never made anything official before the big day.
