The excitement for Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding is through the roof as their special day draws near. It has become the talk of the town and everyone is curious to take a peek into their extravagant shaadi celebrations. A while back their leaked wedding invitation spilled the beans on their six unique events, all set to unfold amidst the grandeur of Hotel Leela Palace and the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur. Preparations Have Begun
Preparations for Pari and Raghav’s wedding have kicked off with only a few days to go. Their homes in both Delhi and Mumbai are undergoing stunning transformations by getting all decked up.
A Cricket Match To Break The Ice
Buzz suggests that Pari and Raghav will kickstart their week-long wedding festivities with a cricket match in Delhi before flying to Udaipur. Turns out both the bride and groom are big cricket fans, which was evident when they attended an IPL match, and have hence decided to add the unique activity to their list of celebrations.
Further, reports suggest that an ardaas and shabad kirtan was planned for Sept 17 in Delhi. It was an intimate gathering attended only by their close family members. We also hear that a pre-wedding function that’s supposed to take place in Udaipur will include a welcome lunch and a 90s-themed party.
Theme & Outfits
A source close to the couple revealed to Hindustan Times that the theme of their wedding is pastels. “The theme and colour for the wedding is pastel, and everything will reflect the same from the decor to the couple’s attire. Parineeti and Raghav have picked the theme as it reflects their personality, and have even told the guests to try and follow the theme,” he/she revealed.
The source also said that Pari and Raghav would be wearing colour-coordinated outfits, similar to their engagement attires. “He has got several options made for himself for every function, and will be doing the final fitting in a day or two to finalise the attire. Even the bride and groom’s attire is simple and subtle, reflecting their personalities with hints of their love story merged with it.”
