Tejasswi Prakash’s Face Massage Technique Will Give You That Jawline You Always Wanted

Getting prepped for facing the camera all day is definitely not an easy task. The heavy makeup takes a toll on the skin and can lead to breakouts, dry skin, and so many more skin issues. But one television star who seems to have her skin all figured out, is Tejasswi Prakash.

The actress is also a massive skincare enthusiast and often takes to her YouTube channel to share her updated routine and basic skincare to-dos. Tejasswi attests that these are anti-ageing and fight against wrinkles, making them perfect for literally every one of us.

Tejasswi Prakash’s Face Massage Technique

Before starting off with any massage, Tejasswi first washes her face to get rid of any dirt. To massage her face, she uses between 3-5 drops of a natural Kumkumadi oil and pats it on her skin. “Even if you take a lot, it is going to be absorbed by your skin,” Teja says about using one pump to show us how she massages her face. While she proceeds to do a whole 10-step face massage procedure for her skin, steps 3 and 4 of this are what could to be the secret to her snatched jawline and taut cheeks.

The Bigg Boss star uses her knuckles to massage her face upward! Unlike the rest of us, Teja goes over her face from her jawline to her cheeks and gently pulls her skin upwards and proceeds to hold it at her cheeks for a couple of seconds, all with her knuckles. She does this a total of 10 times before moving on to her jaw.

Then, using her index and middle fingers, angling them into a v-shape, Tejasswi starts off at her chin and moves upwards again, one finger on either side of her jaw. This facial massage technique helps contour her jawline and make it firm.

How Does A Face Massage Help?

As you grow older, your skin loses its elasticity which causes it to sag. Massaging your face regularly helps boost blood circulation and boosts the production of collagen, which in turn increases skin elasticity. This in turn helps slow down wrinkle formation on the skin.

Massaging the skin regularly also helps promote lymphatic drainage which even helps reduce puffiness and bloating.

Regular massages also help de-stress the skin. During the day, we don’t realise how much tension we’re holding only in our faces. A face massage at the end of the day will help relieve the tension and even promote a good night’s rest.

Like Tejasswi, you too can use your hands to massage your face every night. But if you prefer tools, these will do the trick.

And these facial oils are some of the best in the biz right now!
