My Honest Review Of Swiss Beauty’s Under Eye Patches

The eyes may be the window to the soul, but my soul isn’t ready to be 30 just yet. On the lookout for a product that is effective but doesn’t dent my wallet (because being broke is worse than being 30), I picked up the Swiss Beauty Hydra Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum Patch.

What Is It?

The Swiss Beauty Hydra Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum Patch is a simple product—a jar of 60 pairs of eye patches. It is enriched with collagen aloe vera, which promises to soothe the eyes, reduce puffiness, hydrate, reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, and reduce irritation and redness. It’s also suitable for all skin types.

It also comes in a gold variant with the same features.

Our Thoughts

At first look, it looks like an exact dupe of the cult favourite Pixi under-eye patches. And I must admit, these patches share quite a few similar properties with the Pixi one as well.

The jelly-like texture can be slippery, but the jar comes with a scoop spoon that helps lift each piece and place it on the targeted area. I wake up with puffy eyes most days, and my favourite thing to do while sipping my green tea is apply these patches. They’re incredibly hydrating and even come with excess serum in the jar. I leave them on for 15 minutes and then dab some more serum under my eyes to prepare them for the long hours of screen time ahead. If you have dry skin, this is a great product. I also particularly love how cool they are on these sweltering hot days.

Coming to the things I didn’t like. I won’t lie; these patches did nothing for the fine lines under my eyes. I’ve used them almost every alternate day for the past month and don’t see a difference. The patches also did nothing to brighten my under eyes, so if you expect a quick and cheap fix for your dark circles, you’ll be disappointed.

How To Use

With the help of the scoop, remove a pair of eye patches and place them under your eyes. Leave enough space between the lashes and the patch since the serum can irritate if it enters your eyes.

What It Looks Like

Good To Know
Key Ingredients: Collagen, aloe vera.
Benefits: Soothing, de-puffing, cooling.
Wallet Friendly: Always discounted.

In Conclusion

The bottom line is that this product is perfectly average. I loved how cooling and hydrating it was but wasn't even left disappointed by it not reacting to my fine lines because even I know there are only very few and extremely expensive products that really treat those (if you're not up for procedures). I love that I don't have to spend 3,000 to just tackle early morning puffiness.
