It’s a baby boy for actors Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul!!! The Veere Di Wedding actor took to Instagram moments ago to share the news of baby Ved’s arrival. “It’s a Boy. Shall be called VED. Mamma and daddy are active cliche…smothering the child every few minutes…,” Sumeet wrote in his post. Needless to say, the parents are really excited about their new phase of life and had been sharing pictures and videos all this while to keep us all duly updated about their journey to parenthood.
In fact, Sumeet has been elated all through the process and it was only recently that Ekta had shared a picture of him decorating the room along with his sister for baby’s welcome. “Bua and papa on the job,” Ekta had written on the pic.
Sumeet’s announcement post from today doesn’t defy his excitement either as the actor has clearly told us that the newly turned parents are busy smothering baby Ved with all the love:
From the looks of it seems like Sumeet is all set to be the perfect papa bear. He has been thoroughly supporting Ekta all this while and has been giving all the attention to his lady love. “Sumeet and I are doing all the work by ourselves. We make plans for the next day and divide work! That’s how we are managing right now,” Ekta had said in a media statement last month.
Just a day ago, Ekta also shared an appreciation post for hubby Sumeet thanking him for supporting her throughout and taking on this journey with her. She wrote, “Our world is about to change. But my life has changed because of you. I am so thankful that we get to go on this ride together. So before all the screaming and diaper changing begins, I just want to say PAPA you are beautiful. Thank you !!”

The couple seems to be all sorted in terms of the post-delivery blues as well. As Ekta had shared in an earlier media interview, “After the delivery, my mom will be around so managing the baby won’t be an issue at all. She has managed me, I am sure my baby will be easy for her. Also, Sumeet was ready since forever. So, I am not worried about managing the baby.”
Well, baby Ved is surely up for a joy ride with these enthu-cutlets. Welcome to the world little one!
