NGL, every time we see pictures of Suhana Khan, all we can think about is her big Bollywood debut. Can you blame us though? One look at her Instagram and you’d know that the star kid has all the makings of a celebrity. Perfect poses, fashionable #OOTDs, stunning dance videos—it’s not too hard to guess why we’re eager to see her on the big screen! And guess what? It looks like the wait is finally over! According to the grapevine, Shah Rukh Khan’s gorgeous daughter is the next star kid ready to make her debut in Bollywood and set the screen ablaze.
Turns out, Suhana is all set to star in Zoya Akhtar’s next untitled project, which will stream on Netflix. Apparently, the director is currently working on the Indian adaptation of the international comic book series, Archie. How exciting is this! If you’re a fan of the popular graphic novel, then you’d know all about the American adaptation called Riverdale. While Riverdale is a dark and mysterious take on fun series, it’ll be interesting to watch what twist Zoya has in store for us.
Since the plot revolves around a teenage story, the Gully Boy director has been on the lookout to get multiple young actors on board to play a bunch of friends.
We’ve also learned that the project is in the initial stage ATM. The final paperwork will be done once Suhana and SRK okay the script for launch.
Suhana recently featured in a short film called The Grey Part Of Blue, and won a lot of appreciation on social media for her stellar performance. However, Archie would mark her official foray into the world of showbiz. Earlier, the young diva had revealed why she is keen on being an actress. She said, “What I love about acting is that I don’t have to be myself, I can be completely different.” Now, that’s a smart answer!
Here’s a thought—wouldn’t it be exciting to watch Suhana and her BFFs in Archie? We’re already dreaming about watching her and Shanaya Kapoor portray the roles of Betty and Veronica! It’ll be interesting to watch who plays the characters of Archie and Jughead. Here’s hoping we get a release date ASAP!
