ICYMI, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja just got herself a bombshell perm and she’s been rocking those curls like a boss. Here’s her curly journey if you haven’t read it already. Now, we don’t know if it is the hair or just the whole demeanour, her looks recently have been very subdued. To balance the statement that is her big hair, she’s specifically opting for simple makeup looks. Here’s another one of her makeup looks where she had a major lipstick moment!
We are ALL for her newfound love for nudes. She recently stepped out for an event in an all-white chic formal ensemble. But honestly, I couldn’t take my eyes off her makeup. What was attractive about this look is the harmony. Where nothing is out of place but everything makes a statement. Shall we break it down?
Get the look
This makeup look, I think, would be ideal for literally anything and everything you would have to do. A meeting, a day out and can even be dressed up for a wedding with just the right hairstyle. Here are a few things that stood out for me and here’s how you can recreate it!
For this subtle smokey eye, pick out the brown and taupe shades from your eyeshadow palettes. (This is the perfect nude eye look eyeshadow palette.) Take a light brown eyeshadow and put it all over your eyelid. Take a darker brown eyeshadow and blend it into the crease. Next, pack the taupe shade on the lid for a tinge of colour.
The rest of the face is kept bare. You can switch up a heavy foundation with some BB cream if you don’t want a full face of makeup. This look is as versatile as it comes.
My favourite part about this look is hands down the lip colour. It is a nude lip but it isn’t MATTE! I always love a good creme finish lip colour to break the monotony of matte once in a while. (This is my favourite creme lip colour if you’d like to know. It moisturises and has a great colour pay off.) The best thing here is that you can just easily switch it up with a nude balm during the day and no one will notice! (This is my go-to nude lip balm. It is ideal for our skin tone!)
