Pyaar hua…ikrar hua and then? It is shaadi time, of course! At least, that is how we perceive all the romantic relationships in India. Every time a couple makes it official, getting married is automatically assumed to be a natural progression and then all the “When are you getting married?” queries begin. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are the latest ones to be at the receiving end of these random questions and speculations. The air is already rife with rumours of the two tying the knot just a few days after they made their relationship Insta official.
It all started recently after Zaheer confirmed their relationship rumours with a heartfelt birthday post for Sonakshi and openly said “I love you” to the actress.
Soon after, gossip mills started reading a tad too much into the birthday wish and wedding rumours started doing the rounds. These rumours spread like wildfire and by yesterday evening, people were dead sure that a wedding is on the cards. It came to a point that Sonakshi had to take things into her hands and respond to all the speculations. And the actress did it in the filmiest way possible.
Last evening, Sonakshi took to Instagram and shared a funny reel on how the media has been talking about her shaadi. “Me to media: Kyu haath dho kar meri shaadi karwana chahte ho?,” the text on her video read. Sonakshi then answered the question on the media’s behalf by lip-syncing Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue: “Accha lagta hai mujhe, bahut mazaa aata hai (I feel good. This is fun).” She also quipped in the caption by writing, “proposal, roka, mehendi, sangeet sab fix kar hi liya hai toh pls mujhe bata do.“

It is really cool of Sonakshi for being such a sport while addressing the rumours. Here’s hoping that this puts an end to all the conjectures!
